    Itinerary

    Day 1Bishkek – Burana Tower – Kok-Moynok Canyon – Kyzart

    Your journey begins with a drive from Bishkek toward the historic Burana Tower, an 11th-century Silk Road monument surrounded by ancient balbal stone carvings. You can climb the tower for panoramic views of the Chuy Valley before continuing deeper into the countryside.

    Next, we visit Kok-Moynok Canyon, a hidden canyon known for its orange clay formations,
    narrow passages, and unusual desert-like landscapes. We will take a short walk through
    the canyon and enjoy the scenery.

    By evening, arrive in Kyzart village, the starting point for tomorrow’s horseback adventure.
    Dinner and overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse.

    Day 2Kyzart – Kilemche Valley (Horse Riding)

    After breakfast, meet your horse guides and begin the horseback journey into the mountains. The trail follows green hills, river valleys, and wide summer pastures filled with grazing horses and sheep.

    Ride toward the beautiful Kilemche Valley, one of the most peaceful jailoos (summer pastures) in Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded by rolling alpine landscapes, this is the perfect introduction to nomadic life and horseback travel.

    Day 3Kilemche – Song-Kul Lake (Horse Riding)

    Today we continue riding toward the high alpine lake of Song-Kul (3,016 m).

    The trail gradually climbs toward Tuz-Ashuu Pass (3,400 m), offering incredible panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and mountains. After crossing the pass, descend toward the vast open landscapes of Song-Kul Lake.

    Arrive at the lakeside yurt camp by afternoon. Free time to walk along the shore, relax, or enjoy the peaceful nomadic atmosphere.

    Dinner and overnight stay in yurts beside the lake.

    Day 4Song-Kul Lake – Kyzart – Bokonbaevo

    After breakfast, we begin our final horseback ride descending from Song-Kul Lake via the scenic Kara-Kiya Pass (3,360 m). The trail offers beautiful panoramic views over the mountains, valleys, and distant alpine pastures as we gradually make our way back down toward Kyzart.

    Upon arrival in Kyzart village, we say goodbye to our horse guides and enjoy lunch before
    continuing the journey by vehicle toward the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

    By evening, arrive in Bokonbaevo, a traditional lakeside village known for its nomadic culture and peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse.

    Day 5Bokonbaevo – Eagle Hunting Show – Ak-Sai Canyon – Bishkek

    After breakfast, we meet a local berkutchi (eagle hunter) for a traditional golden eagle hunting demonstration. You will learn about this ancient nomadic tradition and see how the massive birds are trained and handled.

    After the show, we continue to Ak-Sai Canyon, a hidden desert-like canyon filled with colorful cliffs, dry riverbeds, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking Issyk-Kul Lake. We will take a short walk through the canyon and enjoy the dramatic landscapes.

    In the afternoon, we begin the drive back to Bishkek through Boom Gorge, arriving in the
    city by evening.
