    Itinerary

    Day 1 Bishkek — Song-Kul Lake via Too-Ashuu Pass

    Your adventure starts with one of the most scenic drives in Kyrgyzstan. Leaving Bishkek behind, we cross the dramatic Too-Ashuu Pass (3,586 m), where winding mountain roads open to incredible panoramic views over the Suusamyr Valley.

    After lunch, the journey continues deeper into the highlands via the rugged Kara-Keche Pass toward the remote alpine lake of Song-Kul (3,016 m). Along the way, endless green pastures, grazing horses, and nomadic yurts create the perfect Kyrgyz mountain landscape.

    By evening, arrive at a traditional yurt camp beside the lake and enjoy an authentic nomadic dinner under the stars.

    Day 2Song-Kul Lake Experience

    Wake up surrounded by untouched alpine nature and spend a relaxing day at Song-Kul Lake. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the peaceful rhythm of nomadic life.

    You may choose to walk along the lakeshore, visit nearby shepherd families, enjoy optional horseback riding, or simply relax and take in the incredible scenery. The silence and open landscapes of Song-Kul make this one of the most memorable places in Kyrgyzstan.

    Day 3Song-Kul — 33 Parrots Pass — Kok-Kiya Valley

    After breakfast, we leave Song-Kul and descend through the famous 33 Parrots Pass, a spectacular mountain road known for its endless switchbacks and panoramic viewpoints.

    Passing through Naryn, we continue toward the remote At-Bashy region, where the scenery becomes increasingly wild and dramatic. Towering cliffs, open valleys, and rugged landscapes lead us deep into the isolated Kok-Kiya Valley, close to the Chinese border.

    Day 4Kel-Suu Lake Exploration — Naryn

    Today we discover one of Kyrgyzstan’s hidden natural wonders — Kel-Suu Lake (3,514 m).

    Hidden between towering limestone cliffs, this alpine lake is famous for its surreal turquoise color and dramatic canyon scenery. Depending on trail conditions, we reach the lake by horseback or on foot through the remote mountain valley.

    After time to explore and photograph the lake, we return and continue our journey back to Naryn City for a comfortable overnight stay.

    Day 5Naryn — Ak-Say Canyon — Bokonbaevo

    Leaving the high mountains behind, we drive toward the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

    Along the way, we stop at the spectacular Ak-Say Canyon, a hidden desert-style landscape with colorful clay formations and breathtaking panoramic views over Issyk-Kul.

    By afternoon, we arrive in Bokonbaevo, where you will experience a traditional golden eagle hunting demonstration with a local berkutchi (eagle hunter), an important part of Kyrgyz nomadic heritage.

    Day 6Bokonbaevo — Skazka Canyon — Barskoon — Jeti-Oguz — Karakol

    Today we explore the incredible natural diversity of Issyk-Kul’s southern shore.

    Our first stop is the colorful Skazka Canyon (Fairytale Canyon), famous for its unusual sandstone formations shaped by centuries of wind erosion.

    We then continue into Barskoon Gorge, known for pine forests, mountain rivers, and beautiful waterfalls. A short hike leads to the famous “Tears of a Leopard” Waterfall.

    Later, visit Jeti-Oguz Gorge, home to the iconic red rock formations known as the Seven Bulls and the Broken Heart.

    By evening, arrive in the mountain town of Karakol.

    Day 7Karakol — Burana Tower — Bishkek

    On the final day, we begin the drive back to Bishkek along the scenic route through Boom
    Gorge.

    Before arriving in the capital, we stop at the historic Burana Tower, one of the most important Silk Road monuments in Kyrgyzstan and a UNESCO heritage site.

    Arrival in Bishkek in the evening marks the end of your unforgettable Kyrgyzstan journey.
